The 33-year-old French international scored 15 tries in 45 European appearances, with 13 of those coming for the Heineken Champions Cup semi-finalists in the European Cup.

Huget made his European bow in the Challenge Cup for Bayonne, with the first of four European games for them being a 16-13 defeat to Connacht Rugby in the 2010/11 Amlin Challenge Cup.

His first try in continental rugby came the following season in the same competition, as he crossed the whitewash in a 19-11 victory over Wasps in the pool stage.

After moving to four-time European champions Toulouse ahead of the 2012/13 season, Huget soon showed his class in the Heineken Cup, scoring three times in his maiden campaign.

The following year he grabbed a brace against Zebre Rugby as he helped Toulouse reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

Huget notched another three tries in the 2014/15 season, including another double, this time against Montpellier as he produced one of his finest performances in European competition.

He equalled his best tally of three tries for a third time in the 2016/17 campaign, going over in both pool stage fixtures against Zebre, before another score came against Wasps.

Huget crossed once in each of Toulouse's last two Heineken Champions Cup campaigns as the French side exited at the semi-final stage on both occasions.

His Toulouse teammates will face off against Bordeaux-Bègles this weekend after reaching the last four of the Heineken Champions Cup for the third consecutive year.

He played 40 minutes of the quarter-final victory over ASM Clermont Auvergne, in what would prove to be his final appearance in European rugby.
