The Pool 2 runners-up have already lost to Toulon twice this term, but their first meeting at Stade Felix Mayol in Round 2 was only by a 17-16 margin.

"What a challenge and what a magnificent opportunity to play against an outstanding Toulon team who qualified as top seeds and deserve a home quarter-final,” Mooar told the Scarlets website.

“What a great place to go and experience again. We are confident of our own ability whenever we take the field.”

The New Zealander described Saturday as “just an awesome night to be a Scarlet" as the Welsh region ran in four tries to secure a comfortable win at the Madejski Stadium.

"We probably overplayed a bit in the early stages,” he said. “But our tries came from really good rugby, territory and exerting position pressure.

“We probably left three or four tries out there as well. They looked like they were coming straight off a training field, which shows the work the coaching staff are putting in.

“It was a pleasure to watch. Our scrum was outstanding and so too was the defence, which created a number of turnovers which we played off. "
