Leicester roared back to record a bonus-point victory with four tries in the final 27 minutes at Welford Road, after Ospreys had led 12-6 at half-time thanks to tries from Sonny Parker and Adrian Cashmore.

Leicester found their form as Brett Deacon, Harris Ellis, George Chuter and Austin Healey all went over, with Andy Goode kicking 10 points.

2005-06 Pool stage: Ospreys 15 Leicester Tigers 17

Leicester snatched a dramatic victory in the return clash at the Liberty Stadium, with Andy Goode converting Dan Hipkiss’ 84th-minute try to stun the hosts.

Ospreys were 15-3 ahead on 49 minutes after tries from Barry Williams and Shaun Connor, while Leicester had Ollie Smith and Louis Deacon yellow-carded.

Tigers reduced the arrears with Goode converting Leon Lloyd’s 64th-minute score before completing their late smash-and-grab job.

2008-09 Pool stage: Leicester Tigers 12 Ospreys 6

Four first-half penalties from England fly-half Toby Flood were enough to earn Leicester victory at Welford Road.

Ospreys replied with a Shane Williams drop-goal just before half-time and a James Hook penalty on 57 minutes, but Tigers held on comfortably to defeat their lacklustre opponents.

The return fixture was another tight affair, but this time Ospreys edged a try-less contest.

James Hook kicked two first-half penalties for Ospreys, with Derick Hougaard replying for Tigers, who had Toby Flood sin-binned.

Hougaard slotted two second-half penalties, but three successful kicks from Hook sealed the spoils as Ospreys maintained their qualification hopes.

2009-10 Pool stage: Leicester Tigers 32 Ospreys 32

Jeremy Staunton’s late try, converted by Billy Twelvetrees, earned Leicester a draw in a pulsating clash at Welford Road.

Ospreys had led 26-15 at the break, with Shane Williams and Tommy Bowe scoring tries and Dan Biggar kicking 16 points.

But Tigers, for whom Johne Murphy, Twelvetrees and Lucas González Amorosino also went over, battled back well.

2009-10 Pool stage: Ospreys 17 Leicester Tigers 12

Ospreys maintained their quarter-final push with a solid victory at the Liberty Stadium.

Tommy Bowe scored the only try of the match on 36 minutes, while Dan Biggar kicked 12 points.

Toby Flood kicked three penalties for Leicester, with Jeremy Staunton adding a drop goal, but Ospreys proved too strong.

2012-13 Pool stage: Leicester Tigers 39 Ospreys 22

Toby Flood produced a master class to revive Leicester’s Pool 2 challenge with a bonus-point victory.

Flood scored Leicester’s fourth try and added 19 points with the boot in a dominant fly half-display.

Manu Tuilagi crossed twice and Ben Youngs once for Tigers, while Ryan Jones bagged Ospreys’ sole try as Dan Biggar kicked 17 points.

2012-13 Pool stage: Ospreys 15 Leicester Tigers 15

Leicester kept their Heineken Cup hopes alive with a hard-fought draw at the Liberty Stadium that ended Ospreys’ qualification hopes.

Tries from Niall Morris and Ben Youngs saw Leicester lead 15-10 with five minutes to go.

But the Ospreys, who had led for much of the game thanks to Joe Bearman’s score, had other ideas and salvaged a share of the spoils as Jonathan Spratt dived over at the death.
