The 35-year-old is in line to face Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm Stadium as he looks to help Pool A leaders Leinster to a third straight win in this season’s competition.

Healy will join Ronan O’Gara (110), Gordon D’Arcy (104), John Hayes (101) and Peter Stringer (101) in the elite group of players to have achieved a century of games in EPCR’s leading tournament.

Healy has lifted the coveted trophy with Leinster four times - in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2018 - and has scored 14 tries across his 99 games to date.

The 121-time Ireland international made his Heineken Champions Cup debut in 2007, coming on as a late replacement for Ollie le Roux as Leinster lost 29-10 at Edinburgh Rugby in the pool stage.

In addition to his four triumphant finals outings, Healy has featured in a further two showpiece games, losing out to Saracens in 2019 and Stade Rochelais in 2022.

He has come off the bench in both Leinster’s Pool A games so far this season as the Irish province have marched to victories over Racing 92 and Gloucester.
