2 - Despite losing 31-26 at Newcastle, Worcester Warriors picked up two bonus points. Meanwhile, Agustin Creevy and Olly Cracknell scored two tries apiece as London Irish registered a 33-17 win at Section Paloise.

3 - There were three home wins and three away wins from last weekend’s fixtures.

11 - Newcastle Falcons centre Max Wright scored the fastest try in the history of the tournament when he touched down against Worcester at Kingston Park after just 11 seconds. Meanwhile, scrum-half Jean-Marc Doussain kicked 11 points as Lyon started their campaign with a 19-13 home success against Gloucester Rugby.
