The first Fantasy Match-up pitted the triple European champions of RC Toulon between 2013 and 2015 against the mighty Leinster Rugby side from 2009-2012, with the Irish province coming out on top.

The second clash sees Munster Rugby’s side from 2006-2008 take on fellow double European Cup winners in Leicester Tigers in 2001 and 2002.

We’ve picked out four of Leicester’s main men below:

Austin Healey

As man of the match in both Leicester’s European Cup final successes, the fleet-footed scrum-half has to be among our ‘fab four’ Tigers. First, the versatile England international set up Leon Lloyd’s match-winning try in the 34-30 success over Stade Français in the 2001 decider with a brilliant break and then he scored one of the Tigers’ two tries in their 15-9 triumph against Munster in 2002 following a delightful dummy. In all, he notched five tries in 12 European games across the two seasons.

Tim Stimpson

Normally, the Leicester full-back would have finished as the competition's leading points-scorer in the 2000-01 season with his tally of 152, but he was well beaten by Stade Français’ Diego Dominguez’s all-time record of 188. However, Stimpson had the last laugh in the 2001 final, when his 19 points were crucial to the Tigers’ victory. He was also a key figure in their win over Munster, creating Geordan Murphy’s try with a dummy, as well as kicking five points.

Geordan Murphy

The rapid Irish international right wing was a prolific try-scorer for Leicester in his 12 European seasons with them, chalking up 25 in 74 European Cup games. His best season was 2001-02, when he claimed five in seven ties, including one in the final against Munster. He could also kick goals too, converting three tries in that campaign, and then contributing 26 points with his boot the following season. Murphy recently served as the English club’s director of rugby.

Martin Johnson

As well as being an England legend for leading his country to their solitary World Cup success, the giant second row also guaranteed himself a place in Leicester folklore by captaining the Tigers to their first European Cup triumph in 2001 at Parc des Princes in Paris and then becoming the first player to skipper a club to back-to-back European titles the following year, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. He was also a member of a frighteningly powerful Leicester pack.
