After beating Montpellier Hérault Rugby 35-29 in Round 3 to complete a famous double over the French champions, the Welsh side now have the challenge of the English title-holders in Round 4.

"Going to Welford Road is extremely tough," he admitted. "A lot of teams are beaten before they get off the bus there. I've got a lot of experience of that.

"We're also in a situation where we've got something to play for. That's going to be important. We're looking forward to pitting our wits against a very, very good team."

Ospreys have already lost to Leicester, albeit only 23-17 in Round 1 at home, and the Tigers also enjoyed a valuable win over French opposition in Round 3 - defeating Clermont Auvergne 44-29 on the road - to seal their passage to the Round of 16.

So, Booth, whose side lie fifth in Pool B - three points behind Leicester, knows his team twill face a difficult task.

"Any team that goes to Clermont and produces a performance is something to be reckoned with," he added. "[I am] extremely respectful of Leicester and what it stands for - an absolute stalwart of the English game."
