British and Irish Lion Dan Lydiate spearheads a quartet of new arrivals at Dragons RFC as the Welsh region seek to make amends for their record 73-33 EPCR Challenge Cup Round of 16 loss to Glasgow Warriors last season.

The 34-year-old Wales flanker has vast experience of the two EPCR competitions, having made his Heineken Cup debut for Newport Gwent Dragons back in 2007 and gone on to make 40 appearances for them and Ospreys over 12 seasons.

At the other end of the scale is 24-year-old full-back Cai Evans, who won his first Wales cap against South Africa last weekend. He has also joined Dragons from Ospreys, having made his Challenge Cup debut in 2018.

Fellow 24-year-old back Corey Baldwin, who can play on the wing or in the centre, has arrived from Scarlets following a season with Exeter Chiefs. He scored two tries for Scarlets in five Challenge Cup appearances for them.

Scrum-half Dane Blacker, 25, also arrives from Scarlets following one try in nine EPCR games for them. He made his EPCR debut in 2018 for Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Champions Cup.
