Nemo Roelofse

The prop’s early years were spent in France’s second tier, but he joined Stade Français ahead of the 2021-22 campaign and has since become one of the key figures in their front row.

Roelofse, 27, made five appearances in last season’s Heineken Champions Cup and started in both legs of Stade Français’ Round of 16 defeat to Racing 92.

JJ van der Mescht

The lock was also a starter in the second leg of Stade Français’ Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 clash with Racing, his fifth game in the competition since joining from Sharks in his homeland.

At 23-years-old and with South Africa U20 caps to his name, van der Mescht is one of the young stars to look out for in the EPCR Challenge Cup this season.

James Hall

Scrum-half Hall is Stade Français’ longest-serving South African player, having joined the club from Oyonnax in 2019.

The 26-year-old, who is another with international experience at U20 level, has appeared nine times in the Challenge Cup during his time with Stade Français and Oyannax, scoring one try and kicking two conversions.

He also turned out five times in the Heineken Champions Cup last season and featured in both legs of Stade Français’ Round of 16 contest.
